Here is a photo of my foot with the wrap minus the cute little black and white shoe they gave me after surgery. I wear it at all times to walk. And on that note I wanted to share with all of you why my Doctor had me start icing behind my knee when the pain was so severe. Some of you may already know this and others may not. I for sure did not know it or I would of did it from day 2 not day 7 when he told me.
Ice pack behind knee: Applying an ice pack behind the knee can help reduce swelling and pain in the foot, especially after surgery or injury when a dressing or cast prevents direct icing. The cold constricts blood vessels, cooling the blood as it flows down to the foot and decreasing inflammation. Thank you Dr Gull!

Ooh, filing this tip away for our next first aid adventure! Hopefully we'll never have to use it...
