This is with a very sad and heavy heart that I post this.
August 11th I posted that Marlene had a Brain Bleed.
Below is today’s update from Narlenes daughter.
Krista heard from Marlene’s Daughter this morning and as she is going out of town she ask me to post it.
“This is Marlene's daughter. She has taken a turn for the worst. We have asked that no life saving measures be done. “

| I just received an email from Stacy Marlene’s daughter, Marlene is now in Hospice. That is all she said. I am just sad. |

As I write this to you I am crying and my heart is breaking.
Stacy, Marlene’s daughter just sent me an email, Marlene passed away this morning;-(
Stacy, will send me funeral info and where we can now send cards. I will let you know.

| She was a sweet soul for sure. I have a journal that she made for me. This makes me so sad. She will be missed. Debbie I will be looking for the address update. Thank you so much. Hugs |

| Yes, she sent me a Birthday and FGOTM card with a Beautiful Hankie with Purple Flowers. She knew that purple was my favorite color. I will treasure it always and all the cards and letters over the years. I will miss her:-( |

| Sorry to hear this! Besides many cards and poems, I have a cow butter dish and table cloth from her when we were partners for the dairy swap a few years ago. She will be missed!!! |

From Stacy, Marlene’s Daughter,
Cards can still be sent to PO Box 9, Swisher, Iowa 52338 for my dad, Alan Burns. Or to my address of 2230 71st Street Van Horne, IA 52346
Celebration of Life is next Friday 9/12. Teahen Funeral home 3100 F Ave NW Cedar Rapids, IA 52405. Visitation will be 3pm to 6pm with a service to follow immediately after at 6pm
