I have only seen it called "Chesterfield" in the Restoration Hardware catalogs.
We prefer to call it "smackerel" over here :) |

Christine, AH! You have heard of chesterfield's. Sorry, that means no new Canadian word for you. I will try harder for the next one. "Smackerel!" Love that word better. Heather, Very good question! I have seen many videos of people being hit by fish. Funny to watch, I would not like it to happen to me, though. I would imagine that those scales, with velocity, as they hit your skin, would leave a rash! |
