So far it's been cool, cloudy, the girls are on spring break and sleeping late, dogs are discombobulated because my husband is out of town for a week long training, and I still have to work.
On the blessing side, I was surprised to be named Farmgirl of the Month and the Bradford Pear and redbud are in bloom.
Guess I just have to keep on the sunny side. |

| April showers are forecast for later on tonight. We have been having some rains the past 2 weeks so that is helping us out of our below normal rain so far this year. |

Just between us gals please…..no Fb !
Just got Hunny home from a 10day hospital stay that we NEVER saw coming ! I’m posting to let yall know I may be sporadic in /out next couple mths here. Long story short, we entered the ER, his sugars were 490 !!! On top of this, tests said his left heart side is pumping about 30-35%. No blockages for stents was great news tho. The sugars had electrolytes, entire system nuts and did the heart damage. He will need meds & PT to gain some of it back. He had lost 70plus lbs in the last year…now know why. This is a man that doesn’t even take Motrin ! So a complete jolt for us outta left field. We now face a long NEW normal ahead. I ask for prayers that God keep him safe & help all of us navigate the new road ahead. I gotta give a huge shout to God above for being an amazing God, sooooooo faithful !!! Two times we were about to come home/discharged I prayed if it was not safe to go home, for God to make it known to the drs/nurses. I tell y’all, both times less than an hour to go, he had tachycardic episodes and was held. God has answered my prayers so faithfully, exactly as I prayed. Please keep us all in prayers! The showers we had were a bit heavier than this implies but spring is having an argument with winter about whose turn is

Thank y’all !
There’s just too much to type on his issues, but his A1C was 13.5…should be under 7 in the ER. The left side of heart pumps out blood to all your body/organs…pumping 30-35% right now. We will have a whole new lifestyle the next few months especially. I will definitely be run ragged…Lol
3meals a day + snacks, we’re not used to. Several meds we need to remember/keep straight for him. He’s still pretty weak and has to wear a Lifevest for awhile (defibrillator). Many dr appts for a bit, then PT
Please KEEP us in prayers, & that God keep my Lupus in check too !!!

| Jami, this is a lot to have on your plate. Do take care of yourself so you are not worn out. Hopefully you have some family support that can help out when needed if it gets to be overwhelming for you. Don't try to "do it all". Hugs and continued prayers. |
