Well March has sure come in like a lion here in Ohio. We are still having lots of wind gusts though not as bad as yesterday and last night. They say the gusts were up to 50 mph. It's still blowing but not that bad. I guess March has definitely come in like a lion this year! Hope everyone has a better month than the one before.

March began here sunny and with temps 68.

Our AT&T Fiber Internet went down yesterday morning, and it is still not fixed. I am so happy we don’t also have AT&T phones or TV because then they would be out, too. They say it is a cable issue.

Ed is fixing the ice contraption for my knee, and then he is going to help his son put up a section of fencing that came down, then I don’t know what he is doing. He has been gathering the tools and supplies he needs.

Our garage/refrigerator freezer kicked the bucket on Wednesday so we need to get that replaced. Unfortunately, it was not covered by our home warranty because you have to pay extra for a second refrigerator, and we didn’t do that. I think we are just going to get a freezer since that is mainly what we used it for so right now, our freezer and refrigerator in the house are full. We lost a few items and I have two pieces of meat in the refrigerator that I will fix later today.

March came in like a lion here -- windy weather but sunny in the 60s. The plum tree outside my open bedroom window is showing a few blossoms. Is spring in the air? I sure hope so. DH brought home two big beef briskets that I'll put in the corning solution next week. I had to clean out the fridge to make room for the bucket; oh well, it needed a good cleaning out anyway. My chemo hell week is starting so I'm trying to get as much done as I can today as I'm going to be down for a few days. I'm glad I can predict this now. Next week I have a pet scan and then the oncologist appointment to find out if I've made progress. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Linda, sorry to hear your fridge died. Very inconvenient.

Judith,
I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. Hoping for good results for you. How long do you leave your brisket in that solution? I've never tried brining for my own corned beef.

March arrived with a chilly day that warmed up to the low 70s for a few hours. Our Spring is in full gear here which is normal this time of year for our area. Overall, we have not had humid or hot weather which is super nice. Today, we had a blustery cold front run through all morning but the skies are clearing up and the birds are back at the feeders so that is good. This front is bringing back some chillier weather for us for today and tomorrow. But I can't complain one bit. This will all end come late May.

Judith, I hope this chemo week isn't too hard. How many more visits will you have to make? Sending you prayers and hugs this week!

We were in the 60s this morning with rain. Now the wind has been blowing hard all morning and it's getting colder. Snow coming this evening through tonight.

Just need to clarify -- My fridge is fine; it's Linda's that broke.
Eggs here are $8-9 a dozen.
Gray days are back again and it rained this morning.

We had a great time. Went thrifting after. Unfortunately with the weather so warm I ended the day with a migraine. Change in weather brings them on for some reason. Weird. But we had a good day.
