I'm curious - when you are about to get creative, do you get out everything you could maybe use on your project, and I mean everything, for inspiration. Then you get and idea and get to work only to use one or 2 of the 50 things you got out. Or is it just me? LOL

I do the same Heather. I have to be able to see what I have or I will forget to use it! Lol. It's the curse or gift, depending on how you look at it, of creativity.

I lay it all out too or I will forget I have it. Some projects I think why do I have all these things, because I may need them now or the next project. I like to have lots of options:-) And I am messy!

What happens with me, I will have an idea, go to pull out everything I need for that idea. In the process see things I forgot about, grab those too. Then when I have a table full of choices, my idea changes three or four times, lol. Finally something gets created and it’s always different than when I started.

I'm so glad it's not just me LOL! I was making my cards for the Feb card swap. I got out the cardstock, the scrap paper box, I pulled out the red and pink paper, the Valentines/Love sticker drawer, the rubber stamps and ink pads, the washi tape, the 2 scrap ribbon bags, I looked through the ribbon drawer but left it, the markers and pens, glue sticks and tape runners, and took it all to the living room (which is my craft room) and spread it all out to see what I could come up with. It's a similar situation with everything I make though. Except my crochet projects - they're usually just a couple balls of yarn. The problem with those it there are way too many started and not finished!
