Early last year if you remember I ask each of you what it means to you to be a Wildflower.
I may be slow and forget sometimes but I try to finish what I started, Eventually!
So over the next few days I will be posting in random order the responses from the Wildflowers who sent me their response. I will tell all of you up front I have Laughed, cried and really thought about what each of you wrote. And from the bottom of my heart I thank all of you for allowing me to be your Mama Hen, and I am honored and Blessed to know each of you and call you Friend.

Here is April Tovars response:

Being a Wildflower to me means: Being part of a community of women who choose to love, support and encourage each other, without really knowing each other. Choosing to grow together, sharing love, friendship, prayers, wisdom and encouragement. Showing up for each other, even if it's all virtual. Just knowing someone is out there in this great big caotic world, thinking of you when you least expect it. A community to feel safe to create and share and learn. A connection to something larger than yourself. Each wildflower so different and unique, yet so beautiful and so similar. Each wildflower's unique beauty creates our beautiful bouquet and without each beautiful and unique wildflower, there would not be such a bouqet. Bouquets stand together, holding up each individual stem and flower supporting each other. Thank you, Mama Hen, for bringing us together and creating our beautiful bouquet of wildflowers. XO

XO,
April

Thank you April. Tomorrow I will post another one.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

So, as I look back over notes etc. I started the project March 2023, yes time does fly!

Here is Wanda Sue’s:

Hello Debbie, thank you for tending to your Wildflowers with such love, caring and thoughtfulness! I love being part of the "bouquet".
My favorite part of being a Wildflower is knowing that all across this great nation, I am in someone's thoughts. The evidence is in my mailbox. I think every week I get at least one piece of Farmgirl mail. and sometimes several! It is so wonderful being a part of this Sisterhood of like-minded ladies.
Sister love and hugs, Wanda Sue

Thank you Wanda Sue.

After reading through my notes from March 2023 I find that I mentioned to all of you I would do a giveaway for this project as well. So, I will still do a giveaway my first of the New Year. Once I have posted all responses for you to read I will then have Kent pick a name out of my hat for a Wildflower treasure. I hope you will continue to enjoy reading everyone’s responses. It has been so long ago that I am sure some of you have forgotten what you wrote:-)

Here is what Debbie Klann wrote:

The Henhouse is a special place and I feel blessed and honored to be a part of it. It's a happy place and a safe space for everyone. I know that I can come here anytime and be accepted for who I am. I can share things and know that I won't be judged. I can learn from everyone. I can laugh and cry with everyone. I can pray for everyone.
We're all here together to build each other up and cheer each other on!!!
There is no competition between flowers. We're all different but we all share beautiful similarities....all different flowers to make up a gorgeous bouquet.
I have found my tribe amongst the Wildflowers and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Thank you Debbie K.

And here is Heather’s:

What does being a wildflower mean to me? Everything! It's hard to put into words but I'll try - The Wildflowers are my sisters in every way that matters. They're there for me to share my joy, my troubles, my thoughts, anything. I feel like it's a special bond that binds us together - like a ribbon holding a bouquet together, and that together we're so much more than we are by ourselves. It's so wonderful to be a part of a group of ladies that make you feel so special.

Thank you so much Heather.

And Here’s Laura’s:

What Being a Wildflower Means to Me :)

I love being a part of the Wildflower Henhouse. First, we have the most awesome Mother Hen! You take the best care of us - and truly make our little community a very special place.
Getting to know the other Wildflowers - through our online conversations and our happy mail - is the next best thing! The world isn't always an easy or friendly place anymore - but in our little Wildflower corner, we always feel at home and surrounded by friendship, encouragement and love.

Thank you Laura:-)

And here is Karen’s:

Being a Wildflower means:
-knowing you're never being alone
-someone is always praying for me
-answers to my questions are just a click away
-having a circle of sisters from different misters
-being surrounded by like-minded friends
- finding joy in our differences and peace in our similarities.

Thank you Karen, this is great!

And here is Dianna’s:

To be a wildflower in the sense that I am a part of an eclectic group of ladies is pretty special to me! I came here knowing we are all of a diverse nature yet also very knitted together with similar interests and loves/likes! I joined because of several points:
1- I've gotten to know a few on a personal level and grown awfully fond of you.
2- I've learned so much via MJ's chatroom but yet not achieved a comfort of truly opening myself up if I need prayer and support. I know I've acquired this through a less than handful via MJ but joining the henhouse kind of narrows the many to a few, i can be more open with AND be supportive if need be!
3- I know with all our different personalities and ages and experiences we can share, teach, learn new ideas and old ways!! No matter how old I am,l'm a learner first and foremost and a teacher secondly.
4- I LOVE giving....so I have an opportunity to give here.
5- There are more opportunities to grow, develop, nature and flourish via the small group we are in and I love it!.
Now to find a bit more time to visit! Spring has sprung here and flower gardening with so many ideas plus getting Sara ready for graduation is keeping me busy.
I'm so thankful that Heather invited me. Debbie invited me last year and we were still bouncing back from covid here so it wasn't good timing.
This year i needed this and I'm happy to be a part of this amazing talented caring group of farmsisters/wildflowers!!
And inspirational!

Thank you Dianna.
