Is anyone interested in a fun little swap to get ready for Christmas? I was thinking we could send something twice a month from now through December. There are only 2 rules. #1 - it has to be Christmas related. #2 - it has to be able to be mailed with just a stamp. Some ideas would be a card, a bookmark, an ATC, a small square of fabric, etc. I thought this would be a fun way to get into the Christmas mood without being stressful or expensive.

After I posted this I was thinking that it sounds like a swap for paper crafters - that is NOT my intention. If you want to join the fun you can buy stickers, cards, etc. Anything that can be mailed with a stamp. You do not have to make anything if you don't want to. I believe Hobby Lobby has Christmas stuff 40% off already LOL! I don't want to leave anyone out that wants to join the fun.

Some how I screwed this up so please see below for partners

I'm so glad you like the idea!

Debbie - isn't it cute. I'm not sure I could get any of mine to do that. They'd all go nuts or try to eat the costume LOL!

Heather, as a paper crafter, I totally didn’t think it was just for cards!! :) You had great ideas for inspiration! :) I’ve even started a listed! :) Remember, a 5x7 card mails for the same as a smaller card. :)

Count me in Heather! I think this one will be a fun challenge and it is always great to get farmgirl mail in the mailbox instead of all the political cards.

Thanks Karen, that makes me feel better!

I agree Julie - it's always nice to get farmgirl mail :)

I'll probably give this until the 15th to see if anyone else pops on and is interested. I know we're a busy bunch right now!

Heather, would you mail to each person? Or just one?

Just one person. Depending on how many sign up (odd or even number) it'll be a traditional swap or a round robin kind of thing, but either way you will only send to one person. I'll assign partners Monday in case anyone else pops on here this weekend.

I'm not sure why, but I'm not getting my email updates from the Wildflowers group - I will do my best to remember to get back on here to check who my partner is!

Glad you're joining the fun Joyce!

Laura wants to join the fun as well. She's busy with family but hopes to be back on here soon.

I am definitely in - thanks Heather for tracking me down. I have been away with my little family and then Meg and Caroline came down for a visit. My daughter got a call for a job interview so she is headed back tomorrow unexpectedly. Caroline will stay here at Camp LaLa for a week or two (yay)!

I'll work on catching up after she heads back tomorrow - just wanted to pop in and say hi!

Here's how the names came out of the santa hat:
Karen - Julie
Krista - Laura
Wanda - Heather
Joyce - Debbie

Since we're so late getting started if you only get one thing sent this month it will be ok.
