Hi sisters!

I’m here to ask for prayers for my father-in-law (and mother-in-law, too). He was admitted to the hospital this morning in order to have a biopsy of his small intestine. A C/T scan revealed a blockage. He is quite uncomfortable with the tube down his nose, he is hungry, and thirsty. Please pray for his comfort, and for wisdom for the doctors. Thank you all so much!

Karen :)

Thank you, sisters. He had surgery this morning. The surgeons removed 24 millimeters of his small intestine. Biopsy results will be back next week some time. He is resting comfortably and will be released from the hospital either Sunday or Monday! :)

Karen prayers for your in-laws. I hope the surgery was successful and that your father in law is feeling better now. Keep us posted on how things progress once the pathology report is completed.

Thank you, once again, for your prayers. The pathology report came back on Friday of last week…He does indeed have cancer. It is a low-grade neuroendocrine tumor. The dr is very optimistic and the surgeon is happy with the amount of margins they took around the tumor. He will be referred to an oncologist to be on the safe side. He is feeling good about everything. :)

Even though it's cancer it sounds like good news that the surgeon got it all.

My grandson Nick needs some prayers and good thoughts. He had spent a hot day moving heavy stuff and as he went to get in his car he had a seizure and convulsions, probably from the heat -- it was 102. He fell on the driveway and broke his rotator cuff in two places. This is on the left side. He broke his right arm two weeks ago. He is in great pain and will need surgery on both the shoulder and arm.
