I just posted a swap on the main Forum if you are interested with the theme of Spring/Easter.
Then, I thought, I would post one here for some fun if you wish to join. Here is my idea to follow. Let's pretend you have a neighbor teenager come over one afternoon a week for 2 hours to help you with things that might need extra hands to accomplish. You do pay her for her help too. Since Easter and Spring both happen this month, what would you do to surprise her with a little gift of thanks and fun? You can make a pretty cloth pouch to fill or a small basket. In it you can add some fun and simple things like a pretty hankie, some treats you know she might enjoy, and any other items that seem like a good idea.
The goal is to keep it simple and small to help keep down mailing costs. Try and keep items that will go into a padded envelope or a small box. Send a cute card along with it to wish her a Happy Spring or Easter or both.
Sign ups go through March 9th and partners post on March 10th. Pleases send your swap out by the last week in March since Easter is March 31st.
Well, the big yellow Chicken at the Easter Bunny warren has helped draw the names for our swap. I hope everyone has a great time!!

I think it is, because her "story" is different and the items suggested are different. Not sure, though.

I received your lovely pkg today. So much sweetness and the card is beautiful. I love what you wrote. Can't wait to try the cherries and teas! Thank you so much for the recipes to go with the lavender. The flour sack towel is adorable and will definitely be perfect to dress up my kitchen. Great timing for the notebook as I was just getting ready to purchase another. I have the best spot for the seeds in my flower garden by my little white picket fence out back. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and for swapping Spring with me! |

While I wasn't looking, the Easter Bunny put a package on my front porch!! Linda, what fun surprises I found inside!! There was this adorable Easter gnome with cute Easter ears, a pretty 2 sided trivet that was handmade, a cute little Easter pouch that had some really neat vintage buttons, a box of cute handcrafted mild chocolates, and Linda made me this sweet denim apple wristlet! I have never seen these wristlets before but they sure are cute with all those fun apple buttons!! Thank-you Linda for being my swap buddy and giving me so many fun and special goodies!!

I am so happy your package arrived safely and quickly, and didn't take a side trip to Ohio like one of the last packages I sent your way. LOL! I am also glad you like what I sent. I enjoyed making most of it and putting the package together for you.

Saturday I received an East Bunny delivery from Winnie! Thank you so much for all the goodies. I will use the goldfish and the directions on the back to make carrots out of small plastic bags; I think my new grandson will like that. And the cute little basket with a birdie in its nest, the lambs on a wooden basket with candies in it, a candy filled plastic egg, a little yellow wooden bunny, a metal Easter sign, and some easy tissues. And a cute Easter postcard.
