For all our Wildflowers who love snow, this photo is for you, it was taken by a friend of mine in Colorado. This was our view from our back deck in Florissant, Colorado where we moved from.
This is Pike Peak and the view is Fabulous! We have been up there, we drove but not in the weather of course, we drove up in the summer. On the ground my friend said they got at least 20” of snow, so there is feet upon free at the top of the mountain. Pikes Peak is 14000 feet up, and I must tell you in the 23 years we lived in Colorado I only went up once. Sadly I got very sick with Hypoxia, thankfully at the gift shop were medics, so they took care of me! I never in my life want to feel that way again.
And just let me say I do miss the snow, the beauty of it and Colorado!
But, Oregon is home now and I love it here.
Happy Sunday to all our Wildflowers.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

That is beautiful - it's sunny and warm here (high 70's). My Master Gardener friends think we might have one more cold snap around Valentine's Day but it looks like we are settling in for an early spring down south.

Debbie, what a wonderful view you used to have, and how fortunate to have lived there for twenty three years. John Denver had me dreaming of Colorado and the Rocky Mountains as a teenager. One Day I hope to see it in person.

Yes, snow is right! We are down to one lane roads here with all the snow we got on the weekend! 60cm….my husband drives sand truck and the plows can’t do much anymore….have to use blowers.
