Happy National Book Lovers Day Wildflowers. Do you have a favorite book that you have to keep on your book shelf to read over and over?
Mine is Knight in Shining Armour by Jude Deveraux, love it. It was the first book I ever read that went back in time. I was hooked!
Then I have the Dr. Seuss books that I read to Kent when he was little. Who doesn’t love Dr. Seuss.
Enjoy your day Wildflowers.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

We had a library in the old house but when we moved in here we had to purchase more shelves. Not sure how that happened and even with a room JT still has two bookshelves, one tall and one shorter but wide in his office that hold most of his books. Which means most of the ones in the library are mine. LOL! I can't help it I'm addicted as my tag line says.

Funny you should ask Debbie, I just discovered an old favorite while unpacking at our new place. It’s a collection of short stories by Donald Davis. It’s called “Listening for the Crack of Dawn”. He is a wonderful storyteller sharing tales about growing up during the 50s and 60s in Appalachia. There are many funny and heartwarming stories that we can all relate to. I just started re-reading last week. I think you would all enjoy it if you could find it at your local library or bookstore it was published in the 1990s.

Oh Wanda Sue the book sounds wonderful. I just ordered it from Amazon, a used book and not expensive. It will be here Saturday.
Good Night and…

Oh no...I am starting to think I am the only one here who isn't a big reader lol. I have a very different style of books I like to read and just don't ever seem to find time to read. (Maybe once my kids are older) I am lucky if I finish at least one book a year. I just ordered a book that has had my eye for awhile so fingers crossed it enjoy it. But as far as my favorite book, I have 2 books that I really enjoyed reading and they have stuck with me. "The Lost Girls of Willowbrook" by Ellen Marie Wiseman and "Verity" by Colleen Hoover. Has anyone read either of those?
