Tomorrow I will meet an old childhood friend for lunch here in town. Mary and I have not seen each other in over 56 years when we were in grade school at Nativity Of Our Lord Catholic School in St. Louis Missouri. All of our classmates are still close and in contact with each other, most of them still live in the St. Louis area. But, there are a few of us like me who live in other states. I am a bit nervous as it has been 56 years and we are no longer kids. But, we will be meeting with our spouses for lunch as Mary and hubby travel across county in their RV most of the year. So that will help! I am so happy they will be in Coos Bay over night on their way to California and want to meet us!
Here is a Class photo from 1968. I am in the 6th row third from right, Debbie Powers and Mary in the last row very first one, Mary Lewis.
So excited too. I will send a photo of us now tomorrow after our lunch and tell you how it went.
