| Happy 4th. Spent the afternoon at the pool celebrating with our son in love and family for his birthday! Going to head over to their place after dinner for game night. We've been hearing fireworks till after midnight for the last 4 nights. |

| Happy Fourth to all you wildflowers out there and thank you again Mama Hen for keeping us all linked and tied into such a beautiful bouquet. The boys and I went for a beautiful country drive this morning and picnic'd at a local park and played some track ball. We're home, it's the heat of the day, but I remember saying out loud this morning to my boys and hubs that it's sad that so many people take for granted the meaning of the holiday. It seems the fourth of July is acknowledged by everyone, but it seems many think of it as a day to drink, party and light things on fire. Seems the true meaning of the holiday has been lost, like a few others. So we chatted about our freedoms and expressed our gratitudes and the real meaning for this Independence day celebration. Happy Independence Day! |

Happy Independence day everyone! The hubs and I enjoyed a peaceful day at home except for one huge thunderboomer! That was our fireworks! There's just so much to be thankful for of which we certainly are. Keeping the windows shut and fans on high to drown out the fireworks tonight. Poor Koda can't take it. I'm sure those of you with doggies know what I mean.

Happy 4th everyone! The family and I went kayaking on the river for four hours , came home showered cooked out and relaxed after that workout !
