Is there anyone who is willing to take on the position of heading up the henhouse? If anyone is interested please email me. I will give you the information you need to do this.
I need to step down but will be here for any questions or help I can provide. I've enjoyed it but it is time to pass the torch. Thanks!

I hope someone steps up to take over for you Denise.

Yes, Denise, you have done a wonderful job and we have all benefitted from your efforts so thank-you too!

I have been thinking about this and want to toss out this thought to the crowd. We have a lot of members, but many rarely stop by to comment. As a result, our participating group is rather small the past year or two. Life gets busy and people have many other tugs on their time. So, is it possible that we don't really need one person to be responsible for the group? Could it just be that we all just work together to keep things going? We all know how things have been going along and so we can just continue and see what happens. If a specific question or need arises, we can post it here and see how the group wants to handle it. If, in fact, the group participation increases and we need one point person, we can address that need at the time. Just an idea because I think everyone feels a bit super busy most of the time living their life, enjoying retirement and like to stop by here to just see what others are doing. Hit will be a less formal structure, but with a small group I think we could make it work and continue to be a place of support and friendship.

Denise, you have done a wonderful job with our henhouse, a lot of energy and work put into keeping our henhouse going.

Revise, Winnie I think that is a good idea,, I would be happy to help but know I couldn’t do that on my own..

I love this Henhouse and would hate to lose it! You all don’t realize how much you all mean to me! You all have reached out to me during my infections, surgeries, are very special too me! I know God put this farm out for me to come to, it’s kept me going! I don’t want to lose that!
Blessings for you all

Darlene - Winnie made the suggestion, not me, however, I was thinking the same thing.

Winnie - That is a super idea. Most of the topics can be responded to by everyone, and anyone can start a new Project Discussion topic.

There has to be a hen hencho to be in touch with Brian. Or for him to be in contact with us.

Everyone has always had the ability to post new topics and respond to any posted.

There are topics that the farm says we are to stay away from, politics, specific religions, etc.

I am willing to stay I just won't be posting as much.

I love Winnie’s idea but understand what you are saying, Denise. It’s a wonderful place to be, this henhouse of ours! :)

Denise, Thank you so much for the time and dedication you've given to our group. You've made it very welcoming to newbies and interesting to all. I do hope it doesn't go away as this is the most active place for me. I still work (2 jobs in fact) and yes life gets busy but this is such a friendly place to share with friends. I hope it can be worked out.

Denise,
That's wonderful news! Please reach out if you need help. I'd be happy to assist and I know others here would as well. I'd actually like to know of other SPG that live in California and where. It would be fun to have a meet up if any were close enough and interested. :)

Denise, it is a wonderful thing to hear that you choose to stay on as Mother Hen! You have been a real source of connectivity and welcoming for our group . So, another big Thank-you!! Also please let me know if I can help you in any way. Those of us here love our little community and I have been here since 2014 or 2015 , I think, and it has been a true "Farmgirl Home" to me! We shall all carry on and keep making it a place to gather and share what is happening in our own little worlds. In today's crazy face pace, we all need a little Farm to call our own. MJF is that place for me because it is full of wonderful and interesting Farmgirls who continually inspire me. And I would also like to encourage everyone here to visit our main Chatroom and share when you can. The circle is wider and full of wonderful women with like minded minds like we can find here. I think of the pattern this way; the Henhouse is our little home space and the Chatroom is our Community Barn where we can all gather and share. We are the lucky ones because of this wide and welcoming community started so many years ago by our Queen Bee, MaryJane.

Winnie I am with you on everything you have said there.
MaryJanes a Farm has been a real friend to me. I was looking for ATC SWAPS, when I found her on line.

Best thing I did for me!

I love you all!
Thankyou!
