Here's what we are thinking for our first sewing swap!!!
Let's make a pillow for our partner!
This would be a good time to read their bios and see what their favorite colors, decor preferences and personal interests are....a good way to get to know our farmgirl sisters better!
We can just make the pillow covering and we will provide our own pillow form when we receive ours. Much easier to mail!
Use your imaginations and let your creativity run wild!
What do you ladies think? I hope that you will all join in!
We will have sign ups until March 31 and partners will be posted April 1. You will have until April 30 to mail out to your partner.
Also, let's not do tucks with this swap. How about sending a swatch of one of the fabrics that you use in the pillow top along with it? Your partner can use it in a future project and have something else to remember you by!
I will try and find a photo or two for some inspiration! |

Let's go with a standard size pillow, those that are easy to find forms for....say 12 to 16" square???

| I've been looking on Pinterest for some photos of easy pillow ideas that I can share here. There are SO many ideas!!! Instead of doing that, take a look if you are needing some inspiration...they also have tutorials on how to measure for an envelope back to slip the pillow form in easily. |

| I'll have to check out the tutorials. I'm not worried about coming up with a front, but I never seem to get my pillows to fit a form properly. |

Happy Friday, ladies!
Today is the last day to sign up for the pillow swap. Just to recap, we will be making a pillow cover (we will provide our own pillow forms), anywhere from 12-16" square, your choice! And swap with our partner. So far, we have:
