I thought this would be a good place to tell you all a little story. Most of you know I like to bake. For Christmas I make lots of goodies to give away to people we do business with for the farm, family, and friends. Our seed salesman was telling me last year how much he enjoys my baked goods and that it reminds him of his mom's goodies. That's a HUGE compliment - his mom was a wonderful cook/baker! He also told me one of her recipes was so good it made it into a cook book. Last year I did the Cabin Fever Reliever swap on the main forum. Marcy was my partner. She sent me all kinds of wonderful goodies! But the best part is - she sent me the cookbook that has the recipe from my seed salesman's mom!!!!! I was completely flabbergasted when I saw it! I couldn't believe it! I haven't made that particular recipe yet, but I've made many things from that book. Thanks Marcy!!!

What a great story Heather, Farmgirls are always connected one way or another. What is the name of the cookbook?

That is such a neat story! I love when things like that happen. Makes the world seem more magical somehow, like it should.

That is fantastic Heather. I mean what even are the chances of that happening? Was meant to be!

I'm glad you all agree with me LOL! It was an amazing gift!
Here's the book Debbie

I'm not sure if I can post a picture of the whole recipe since it's from a book, but here's Ginny's blurb about her recipe:

I'll have to try it soon. But not today. I just got in the flat of strawberries I ordered from my niece's FFA fundraiser so it's Strawberry pie day!!!!!

Hi Heather,

I am so glad that you liked the book. Of course, I remember being your swap partner. I loved everything you sent, but I especially loved the cow related things. I have the cow mug you sent me displayed in my craft room. I refuse to use it because it is so cute, and I want to keep it forever. It makes me smile every time I look at it. And those cow erasers you sent me are some of the cutest things I've ever seen.'
hugs,
Marcy
