Good morning,

Taking a few minutes before I leave for class to say hello. I truly enjoyed my winter break from school and now the craziness has started again. I find this semester busier than last, with time consuming work worth very little towards our grade. Oh well, C'est la vie!

I have not been thinking of spring ... I will admit I am a tad disappointed with this last storm. With all the hype about it ... we only received a few inches of snow! I was hoping for a day off, university closure, but alas it is not the case ... an unexpected break would have been nice!

Pumpkin's wedding celebration has come and gone. It was beautiful. I had a lovely time. They did come up for a visit last weekend and we visited with my mum. We had a lovely family dinner. Mum is not well ... aging stinks! (I could have used a better adjective but keeping it clean

On a happy note, I always enjoy catching up. My time is limited at the moment with full time grad school and full time work. You are a lovely break from my busy routine. Thank you.

Farmgirl hug,

Carole

I've been busy finishing UFOs this year and have completed quite a few in February. Been a very productive month for me. I have one list (a long one) of miscellaneous UFOs on MJF that include crochet, quilting, and basic seewing projects, and another list of 12 quilting UFOs for my quilt guild group. There are a couple duplicates, but not many.

In the quilt guild group every month they roll a 12-sided die and we are supposed to finish or at least make progress on the item with that number on our list. This makes us work on something we otherwise might not have worked on that month; in a way, that helps finish a project we may have gotten bored with. LOL!

I've posted most in the MJF Marketplace in several posts - more being added as I complete them. Toppuics are for aprons, kitchen boas, microwave powl potholders, fabric wall pockets, and more.

Definitely please take a look, and thanks for looking.

I am making most of these items for the sale at the Womens Conference at the church in late April, and for our Henhouse ladies, the price for anything I sell through April will be donated to my granddaughter's mission service expenses. She will be leaving to go back in a month or so and needs funds for her travel, lodging, food, and other expenses. She has found her calling and just loves what she is doing there. We are not allowed to publicly post where she is currently going.
