Thank you, Wanda Sue! :) This is the first election where I’ve felt a lot of anxiety. This is a wonderful reminder of where are focus needs to be! :)

Good morning Wildflowers, Sundays are a good day to be still and reflect. I hope you all have a beautiful day to do just that.

I love that little bird, Wanda Sue!! No one told me that Sundays are good for being still…laundry, vacuuming, canning 16 pints of corn, cleaned the fridge out…it was a busy day here! :)

Same here Karen! Frost is possible in a couple days so I was dehydrating a bunch of herbs, collecting seeds from flowers, opening the gate for Nathan to haul manure, getting calf pens ready to be buttoned up for the cold....now that I'm finally sitting still I'm about ready to fall asleep LOL!

Oh my goodness Karen and Heather, Y’all make me feel lazy. I made a loaf of cranberry bread, wrote some letters and read a few of my magazines. Maybe I could/should have been done more today. LOL!

LOL, here in the South everything is slower, especially on Sundays. Debbie F. your day sounded more like mine, but we don’t have early winter weather to prepare for like some of you ladies. You never know when that first snow might come early.

Oh - you all have been posting some lovely thoughts and images! I need to start printing them out so I can see them during my days.

I spent last week at our fall quilt retreat and wanted to share some of my projects that I worked on.

I found this sweet kit and had to make this Halloween quilt for Caroline.

And for my birthday, one of my quilty friends got me the kit to make a matching pillowcase. Those ruffles were quite the challenge!

I also bought this kit - I love the fall colors and am so excited to have this one done!

And oh my - I do love this little wool pillow. My friend found an unfinished kit at an estate sale and I was able to get it finished for Halloween.

Okay - returning to our regular porch sitting activities - Hope you are all doing great and enjoying some lovely tea - it's almost time for hot chocolate!

Laura

Good morning everyone. In our neck of the woods, we don’t have these beautiful colors yet but it sure feels like fall. Today’s high is going to be 58 degrees. So it’s time to get outdoors and take a hike, woohoo! I hope you all get to enjoy some outside time today.

He so cute! Love it.
It was 46 when I got up this morning so not bad. But it is rainy so chilly. Now at almost 10 am it is still only 47.
I may make up a pot of Chilli today, so yummy.
