Happy halloween! We don't go in for all the gory stuff but since we are here in town we take the opportunity to meet our neighbors when things are going on. We went from having no kids coming round to lots of them. Hope to see the grandkids today. They all want to come over but don't know if my daughter or hubby will want to drive them and then walk around and have to drive home. We have sidewalks here which is nice. They don't have them at their place and we don't have hills like they do. I guess we will see if they show up. I'm hoping they do.

They are planning to come over. The pros outweighed the 1 con to doing it. Lol

We had a total of 8 trick or treaters. A few less than last year. LOL!

We had quite a few kids but still had candy leftover. Not a lot though.

We had an unusually busy year with lots of children all ages. The past few years have been very lean but last night I used up every last piece of candy!! The past 3 years many new couples with children have moved in and so I think that is why we suddenly have lots of Trick or Treaters. The neighborhood also did more yard decorating than I can remember. It was very festive here last night. Then at 8:45p it was all quiet and over. I enjoyed seeing all the costumes and the kids just having a good time with friends and family.

Our neighbors were very loud for quite awhile after the evening ended. But we have a noise ordinance here so they have to settle down by 10. It was a fun evening. Lots of decorations are still up and probably will be until the weekend.
