I just had to share this beautiful photo with you. This is a view of Pikes Peak in the Rocky Mountains. This was my view out my back door when I lived in Colorado. Just Breath taking.
We are rainy here at home with 50’s. I love the Colorado view but not the snow!

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Amazing!!! We're flat as a pancake here in west central Ohio. Today was beautiful here - upper 70's and breezy. It's supposed to rain and cool down tomorrow.

Debbie, you are right...when I first saw it, I thought it was for a magazine or calendar all photo shopped and all.
That is beautiful, just stunning.
Debbie I hope you get snow this weekend!
Girls, guess what...we had rain, blessing rain from heaven today. It dampened the soil before anyone was up, then it set in...a slow soaking rain. 8/10 the of an inch. Then this evening we had a little more. God is so good to us. The red line is east of us now. It is causing some problems. I'm praying for everyone in its path. Once again God spared us.

How do they get the lavender to grow like that?
My lavender tries were miserable failures.

So it is a park not a golf course? I thought it was a golf course.
Oh and we should be in the lower 70s from now until???

It is the farm where they grow the lavender. I buy lavender from them through the mail.

What beautiful photos! It's amazing to me all the different places we live and how much our landscapes vary.

We had a front line pass through last night. It's about 10 degrees cooler and the humidity is a little lower. The ground was a little damp but we still had to water our tomatoes this morning as our rain didn't amount to much.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Laura, I'm sorry that the rains did not get to you.
We had a smidgen before anyone was awake, then it rained all morning long the blessing rain was soooo needed, 8/10. But then after dark, we got more rain, fast and furious, in 30 minutes we got 7/10. So the grand total was 1 and 1/2 " praise God.
Then after it passed I looked at the radar, on my phone, all I could see was a long snakey red line between us and Ft. Worth. I began to pray for everyone in the path..
We have been incredibly dry...so dry that the 17 crepe myrtle trees, that I planted over25 years ago, turned brown in early July, and the pecan tree at the north end of our yard dropped every leaf.
