What are your feelings on thunderstorms? I love a good thunderstorm - especially at night. The lightning fascinates me.

This was Saturday morning as we were finishing up the chores:

The farm on the next road over with the clouds rolling in.

The same farm a couple minutes later!

There was lightning and thunder but I couldn't get a picture of it. I did try though LOL!

We only had half an inch of rain this time and all the trees stayed standing :)

Oh - I do love a good thunderstorm. We are (like so many) struggling with the heat and drought here in South Texas.

I miss rainy days and would welcome some clouds and rain about now!

I LOVE thunderstorms….love to sit and watch them roll in. I do worry about hail ruining a crop and wildfires, though. Mostly I just enjoy them and hope nothing bad happens!

Thunder and lightning storms are so fun to watch, as long as the lightning doesn’t cause any fires!! :)

We're very lucky here - we don't have wildfires. We've had some dingbats burn when it's too dry and catch fields on fire, but nothing like those fires you face out west. The storms around here do damage with wind - we get those strait line winds and tornadoes, hail, and floods.

I love thunderstorms as well. We had a very tiny one yesterday afternoon. It got my hopes up and only lasted a couple minutes. We did end up with some bad winds like always. This one about blew the kids tramp away. It’s already weighted down so we had to add more. I really don’t care much for wind. It cause to much destruction.

God teased us last night. But not a drop of rain fell.

Girls please pray for our neighbors. Their daughter is missing. You may see something on TV.
Our neighbor told me that the sherrif's dept. Would put it out nationally. She has two children aged 14 and 20. She is about 45-50.she went for a bike ride...alone and with ,o NO cell phone, because hers is broken. Problem is her parents have searched...no sign of the bike or her.It has been over 24 hours. Please pray for our friends.

Oh no Marilyn, praying now!
