I have my mom's recipe from my grandma. Blackberry dumplings are oh so good! Most of us try to stay away from prepackaged food but if you are short on time and still want this yummy dish you can use bisquick to make your dumplings. I have a recipe for and use my own mix of "bisquick" found on Pinterest. When we were growing up mom use to make blackberries and milk, no sugar, over biscuits for supper. We had so many blackberries growing everywhere. They were the runners that grew along the ground and they were as big and as long as your thumb and so sweet and juicy. Mom made pies and turnovers and would freeze them and she made jam and oh I wish I could have some of her jams again! Sorry didn't mean to get longwinded.

No need to apologize Denise! I love stories. And heaven knows you listen to a lot of mine LOL! I'll have to look up your bisquick recipe. I also avoid prepackaged stuff as much as possible.
