Happy Easter! We woke up to a couple more inches of snow this morning! A good thing that the kids had their egg hunt last Saturday! We are having dinner with our family at our daughter's house sometime on Sunday. I'm going to be baking on Saturday, for dinner and taking something for church coffee Sunday morning. I'm going to try out a new blueberry coffee cake recipe. I'll let you know if it was a winner! What are your plans for the weekend?

Happy Easter! We are planning on going to a sunrise service then have lunch with the in-laws. We are so blessed to still have them in our lives another year. No little ones in our family so it will be quiet, lol.
A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

That sounds like a great way to spend the day, Wanda! We went to a sunrise service once when we were visiting Brad's aunt. We really enjoyed it!

I'll be going across the yard for lunch with my in-laws. My husband's sister and her family will be there too. Not sure if my mother in law is hiding any eggs this year or not. My nephew is in college - he turns 21 this summer and my niece just turned 13. If she does hide eggs and it's like every other year it will end with everyone looking for the last couple eggs because she can never remember where they're all at LOL! I'm making brisket for lunch (not traditional but delicious!)

Blueberries are one of my favorites, too. The entire Bundt pan full of coffee cake was gone after coffee! Im thinking/hoping that they liked it? Its a little nerve racking trying out a new recipe on others before you try it yourself. That group is happy to volunteer to taste test!
