Thank you for those words today, Denise.

Last night, my son, twin grandsons, Ed’s 2 sons, 1 DIL, and newest grandson were here for our Christmas celebration. Dawson did great for his first time of opening presents. I had done his with thin layers of tissue paper so they were very easy to get into. My son‘s wife what’s not here because of a migraine, headache, and it older son did not come. we had a great time, and after most of them left, Ed and Zach, Ed’s younger son, worked on a very tricky jigsaw puzzle my son got Ed for Christmas.

Dean got me the lego-like treadle sewing machine and I will put that together today. Ed is always saying don’t get me anything for Christmas, and when he opened the little box from his oldest, son and wife, it was empty. He said they got me what I wanted, nothing.Lol!

Thank you Denise!
Has anyone heard from Marilyn lately?
I haven’t from her in a while?

Merry Christmas everyone!
Love you all!

Gnomes really have become a favorite decoration for anytime of the year. I have seen them in all sorts of colors and for all the holidays. I wonder what the fascination is behind their popularity.

I love the gnomes. I don't really know why, but have them for spring, fall and Christmas - so far.

Oh my goodness a weiner dog! My dad had one that I inherited when dad passed and he was awesome! I miss him. So cute Laurie! Your other pup looks like Lady who belonged to my mom. Thanks for sharing. I miss having a pup.

“As the years pass, I am coming more and more to understand that it is the common, everyday blessings of our common, everyday lives for which we should be particularly grateful. They are the things that fill our lives with comfort and our hearts with gladness – just the pure air to breathe and the strength to breath it; just warmth and shelter and home folks; just plain food that gives us strength; the bright sunshine on a cold day; and a cool breeze when the day is warm.”
