Don't you just love when peonies bloom? I need to find something to put along the deck and I think peonies might be just the thing. |

God really out did himself with the mountain laurel. Yes this is BLUEBONNET TIME IN TEXAS. Anywhere you see a mass of beautiful blue...soon a momma will deposit her little one(s) in the middle and begin their photography session.

Do the bluebonnets grow wild? That must be so pretty to see a field of them.
We had peonies our first few years in NJ. JT built a storage shed over them without realizing they were there. I am hoping I can grow them here. |

Guess I've missed a few days. I just think sunflowers must be the flower of summer. It always makes me think of the farm. Mom always had sunflowers planted in the garden. Boy did we love picking and eating the seeds! No roasting or salt.

Not sure what this is called but it Hawaii's state flower.
I always loved the smell of the Plumeria flowers when we lived there.

I was able to spot some sweet little snow drops when we went to NY. They are so delicate, clean and bright looking. It had been 40+ years since I had seen any.
