We went out to lunch to celebrate. The ophthalmologist said my eyes are finally good; no more internal swelling. Only one more appointment tomorrow to the optometrist for new glasses. So thankful this is over. Not too thrilled about going out tomorrow in the 107 heat but it will be worth it and I'm not going to wait for coolor weather. And to celebrate even more I got a haircut; 20 inches of hair going to Locks of Love. Short hair! I'm doing my part for the drought; 5 minute showers instead of 20 minutes.

That's is great news Judith! I always donate mine to Children With Hair Loss. Ever since I found out Locks of Love charges people for the wigs. CWHL works solely on donations. So the wigs and accessories they give are free to anyone who needs them.

That is so great that you both donate your hair. My hair is baby fine and straight and I get perms, and because of that I cannot donate my hair.

CWHL will take dyed or permed hair. Can't have both done to it. Mine is real fine too but I have a lot they say.
It has to be 8 inches is all. I try to shoot for at least 10.

I love this. I'm sending it to my daughter the beekeeper; she'll love it too. In fact, she loves her bees so much she doesn't collect the honey.

Me too! My daughter bought me a bee necklace and donated to the bees for my birthday one year. I love seeing the tiny ones that come to the "bee bushes" as we call them. I forget the name of them but they attract tiny bees and tiny butterflies.

I did Karen! Any day spent with the Littles is a great day! Yesterday was our Violet's 6th birthday. I spent the afternoon and evening with them. We are going to her party on Saturday at the Magic Castle. It has arcade games and a huge play area. The kids can climb nets and slide down chutes. It's a huge area they love to play in. She is having donuts instead of cake. We made up invitations that said "You donut want to miss this! She picked the theme herself. Lol. Personally I think donuts are much easier than cake.
