| I went today and got my haircut so now my picture is correct. I hadn't been in a while so when she did it she said it was going be a lot. So I had her cut it in ponytails so I could send it in again. But it does feel funny being really short again. |

My eyes are leaking as I write this small missive. I received two very special cards in the mail today, one from Debbie and one from Jamie. Thank you both for your kind and heartfelt words, you truly have made me feel so special and like I really matter!
I have really fallen into a wonderful group of Wildflowers and I am so Blessed.

I've received a few special blessings over the years and have sent little things to others that turned out to be a big blessing to them. Thank you SOOO much Wanda!! I love the towel. And I never seem to have enough bookmarks. I've already got one of them in use LOL! I'm glad you like my farming stories. Sometimes I worry that I ramble too much and no one wants to hear it. I'm glad that's not the case LOL!

Look at the sweet house warming gift I got from Darlene today. A fabulous vintage 1928 book of Shrubs, I love the book and collect old ones. Also tea bags and Kit Kat bars. Which of course the guys got the Kit Kat bars. Thank you so much Darlene it was so sweet of you.

Look what I received from Wanda Sue in the mail today, a Mother Hen Mug! She found it at the tractor supply store, they always have the greatest gifts! I miss our store in Colorado! Crocheted scrubbies and dishcloth which I always need. And a Starbucks gift card to get coffee for my mug and just sit on our deck and enjoy life.

Well Phooey :( The picture upload thing says the site can't be reached. It sure it moody!!!! I'll try uploading again later. What you're supposed to see is a cardinal that has a glass ball and bell hanging from it. As soon as the chance of storms is gone I'm hanging it out front!

So here is a funny story about the Cardinal Bird and why I got it for Heather. I have always and I mean always until last week that is, thought the Cardinal was Missouri’s state bird. Our Baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals, so it makes sense that they were named after our state bird. When I decided I wanted to send Heather her state bird for Ohio I looked it up I said to hubby Tom, “oh Ohio’s state bird is the Cardinal too how funny”. That’s when he broke my heart and told me the Cardinal was not our State bird. WTH, are you kidding me? So, nope the beautiful Cardinal is not our state bird the Eastern Bluebird is. Who is also beautiful! So, you see your mama hen is crazy! Took me almost 67 years to known that!!!
So, this is a good place to tell you I write like I talk always have and always will. So my grammar is not always right or my punctuation so I hope y’all don’t mine! I know a lot of folks do mind, it’s just sometimes when I have lots to say I do not care about any of the extra stuff:-) So, I hope it does not bother y’all.
