| We stopped for icecream on the way home from our meeting. They had a special seasonal flavor - pistachio. I love pistachio pudding so I gave it a try and it was WONDERFUL!!! They had dessert with our meal at the meeting - brownies and icecream or apple pie and icecream. Getting icecream twice in 1 day made my Valentine's day wonderful LOL! I hope the rest of you had a great day also :) |

I LOVE pistachio ice cream!
I had 2 meals out sort of on Valentines day. First we did our shopping and then we stopped at Cherry House Cafe, it's one of our favorites here. He bought me one of their tins with their logo on it. You can get them filled with cookies or empty. He got it empty because he knows I am trying to lose some weight. When it comes to cookies I am the original monster. Lol. Came home did some things and JT had planned to go to Olive Garden but we got there around 630 and they said it would be an hour and a half, so we went through the drive through at chick-fil-a and brought it home and watched a movie. I preferred it to being out with the crowds. In NJ we used to go to a little, and I mean little, Italian place called Enrico's on Valentines. But a new home calls for new traditions! We enjoyed ths day together. |

| I have never tried pistachio ice cream but I bet it's really good! Thinking about the color of it reminds me of the spumoni ice cream that used to be my favorite when I was really small. Kind of an odd flavor for a 3 and 4 year old! Now if I eat ice cream, it's just generally vanilla. |

| My husband does that! We go to a place with 34 flavors and he gets vanilla with a little bit of chocolate syrup - not hot fudge. I like to be a bit more adventurous. Sometimes I discover wonderful flavors. Sometimes I find flavors that should not be made into icecream LOL! I've never heard of spumoni. What is it like? |

| It’s kind of pistachio colored with almond flavoring and I think little bits of dried cherry??? It’s been a really long time since I had any, it’s hard for me to remember! |

| I went into one of those ice cream shops with my daughter once where you choose the base flavor of ice cream and then they mix in whatever you want into it. I was so overwhelmed with the choices that I just got a bottle of water! No kidding! |

Our Valentines Day dinner was wonderful. We sat by a window and we were able to watch the sun set over the bay. I had a gluten free chocolate torte after a delicious meal.
I love pistachio anything, ice cream, cake, pudding and just plain pistachios. Thank you for sharing your Valentines Day everyone.

Debbie K - you must have been overwhelmed! I would have at the least gotten some chocolate icecream with marshmallows in it. That should be a safe bet LOL!
Debbie F - that view sounds amazing! One day I will make it to the ocean - to at least dip my ties in. Not sure how I feel about being way out in it LOL! |

Ohhhhhh y’all ! In the over 30 years we’ve been together , I’ve wanted a charm bracelet so badly ! But I wanted Michael to pick each charm to mean something special about us and our life. He nearly floored me at Christmas when he surprised me with the 1st pic (bracelet and 3 charms)
Then the last 2 pics (Bear,dragonfly) were my Valentine with steak & shrimp dinner ! Since I can ONLY wear real gold, I feel wasaaay beyond blessed with this, as I’m most sure it’s not cheap ! I love my Michael Bolton !!!!!! |
