Just a few minutes ago I spoke with Debbie.... Y'all! My mind is blown!!!! You guys have blessed us in a way that I could never have dreamt up!!! Most of you know that we do not live near family... the holidays are usually a lonely time where I cook throughout the day and try to peek my head in the room from time to time so the kids can open their gifts. We don't do Santa, but we do give each of the children something they want, something they need, something they wear, and something they read. We also make homemade gifts for one another. The day is usually one of chaos, but also of love and of giving what we can... I just do not usually get to share much of it with them. But you guys! You guys have made it possible for us to spend the day together without me stressing! I won't have to spend most of the day in the kitchen, rather I can enjoy the family. Thank you so so much!!!!
When Debbie told us, as I am sure most of you could guess, I started crying. Jenni (4 yo) kept asking me what is wrong because all she could see was tears. We had to explain they were happy tears. Touched tears. Feeling incredibly loved, blessed, and grateful tears. Thank you so very very much! You guys - YOU - are my family <3 |
