A cowboy does not need a horse, I guess. My son has so many! But as he gets older, he has found that four wheelers make gathering cattle and horses (who spend hours messing with latches so as to set themselves and their buddies free) so much easier and faster too. My sons first rodeo experience was at two months of age. He was in his infant carrier covered with a blanket...fast asleep...or so I thought. Then that next spring when he was about nine months old we went horseback riding with our neighbors, many times. Our neighbor guy was very confident on horses, as he had been riding since he was a baby. So he would hold Wade as we went on our adventures through the Wolfe nursery pecan orchard. My hubby had purchased two older horses for us to ride. Anyway, my baby grew up to be a cowboy. And I believe that once a cowboy always a cowboy. Cowboys are such good people! |

Marilyn - maybe as they get older they trade in the horses for the UTVs. DH now roams the hills in his Rhino. |

Good news! We are signing a contract on the rental house tomorrow! Moving forward. I managed to get almost all my sewing and craft room stuff packed up and put in the room where we are keeping the boxes. We have 2 things left on our list of to dos in our house. Then it will be time, I hope, to list this one. |

Congratulations Denise on selling the extra house and getting your sewing room packed up. That was a huge job for me when we moved, I still haven’t unpacked part of it and it’s been 2 years. |

Thanks! I figured I'd better do the two things first that we have the most of, sewing room and books. I have done most of my knickknacks/collections. I figure if I get those done it will be clutterless when we list and show this house.
We had rain all last night and my allergies are giving my sinuses the business today. But the sun is back out and I am loving this Spring weather. |

Now that Sunday is almost over...I hope your day was as blessed as mine! Great grand baby came to visit. We were outside...he had his pajamas on and his stocking cap...plus his mom had him in a carrier that she wore. He was facing the world, loving it. He laughed at his great grandpa...seems like babies are drawn to old men. He was bubbling, which kept his mom busy! I guess he is preparing to begin his chewing on things to help his toofies come thru one day. The big long swing set that we bought for Bay, at age two...will be enjoyed once more. They decided his daddy and granddad could move it up to their house, pressure wash it and be sure it is all secure before moving it into town to baby boys back yard. My son had some horses returned about noon today. A young friend of his had been breaking and training them way out in west Texas. Then, there must have been a big something going on by the number of vehicles that have driven by today. Each one delivers more dust...(you know that protective coating for furniture?) God bless you one and all! |

Denise, what wonderful news is happening for you on the moving front! You have been one busy Farmgirl these past few months but what a relief to see it all work our rather quickly. It looks like Ohio living is getting closer and closer every day and I know that is such a relief to you and JT. |

Winnie I am trying to keep positive and just keep moving forward.
I just found out a friend I used to go to lunch with is getting married. So happy for her and we also know her husband to be. Her first husband passed away in 2017 the same month my dad did and his wife passed a few years ago. Honestly I wouldn't have thought for the two of them to get together but you just never know! They met at church and they will be married in May. A great month to marry.(our anniversary is in May too ). We will attend hopefully. It is a Monday evening so I'm praying it's a light workday for JT. There aren't too many of those.
My thrift store pile in the spare bedroom is getting big. I need to box it up and make a trip over there. Getting somethings ready to list on FB marketplace. I hope everyone is having some nice weather to enjoy. Our wisteria is filling the woods with purple. The cherry trees are losing the blossoms and the lane looks like a sea of pink. The apple blossoms are all white and starting to fall. Still Beautiful! Best of all the lilacs are blooming. My very favorites and they don't last long. |

Ed and I are in Branson, Missouri, at a timeshare and friends are in the next unit. We went to Eureka Springs yesterday, and walked in the downtown area.
We had some excitement at home. I'll tell you all later; we are off for an adventure.

Send me a picture Connie if you see it please! I can’t get out and it’s hard to see because of being so bright outside.
Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Sherry! Thanks for the half birthday card. Linda, did you shop a bit in any of the shops in down town Europa Springs? I have two hand made teddy bears that were purchased in shops there. Connie, I knew tonite we were to have a pink moon...but did not know any more, so thanks for the picture and the information. Last nite the moon was so fuzzy! I guess I should say it was surrounded by and covered with thick clouds, up high in the sky. This was around 3:30 am. |

Hi Sherry! Hope you're doing well! I need to look and see if I can spot this moon tonight. We've had clouds today...hopefully it will show up. |
