My wish for my Birthday was to be in Oregon in time for 4th of July and my birthday July 9th to spend with a Kent and be a family again.
We head West July 1st.

One 28’ foot truck going on its way to Oregon to our new home.
We have reserved a 20 foot U-Haul for Monday to load the rest.
Remember this was our retirement home here and we have lots of treasures.

Better than a covered wagon I suppose, but then again a lot less treasure.
Onto Oregon we go! We’re coming Kent.
Our new address is;

812 Lakeshore Dr
Coos Bay, Oregon 97420

Debbie, is someone driving the trucks there for you and will you have to store anything or will it all fit in your new place? Prayers all reaches it's destination safely,

The Big Container is on the way to Oregon and it should be there by the time we get there.
And the UHaul will be driven by my best friends Grandsons, they will unload it all for us too. Yes, it will fit in our new house, it is bigger than the house we live in now.
But, most will be stored in the big garage as we will be moving in a year to our permanent home, so we will only unpack what’s necessary, no photos on wall etc. I will make it homey but with less stuff.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Are you going to build a new home Debbie?
You are so creative, I'm sure you will make your temporary place a beautiful home.
Debbie, how close are you to the beach?

Hello from Oregon, we are here and settling in.
We will rent for a year while we look for our forever home, we are not going to build one. We want one move in ready.
We are very close to the Bay and the beach. We can see a bit of the bay from our deck.
The sea gulls and other water birds are flying over all the time making their presence known.
We are real close to the Coast guard station and the Cape Arago Lighthouse. At night when we are on the deck we can see the light go around. I tell you sisters I just love it here, it is everything I/we wanted. Truly it is! I lived in North East Oregon as a young child and I have always felt pulled here, it is home! I feel I have come home after all the years and I am so very happy.
Sisters I have lost my Farmgirl Address Book so would to please send me your addresses. I have been putting my Farmgirl Sisters and into i my little book for 9 years and I am lost without it.
It is good to be back on the farm, I have missed all of you. Denise I have your address.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie, I don't think I have your new address. Let me see if I can send you an email. That would be more secure.

Debbie, where did you live in NE Oregon? I bet seeing the lighthouse at night is such a comforting feeling!

Shannon why is there no history on the wildflower girls page? Everything is deleted, I guess when the page is full.

We lived in Milton-Freewater. My half sister was born in Walla-Walla Washington in 1959. I went back it 2007 to visit the area
And see where we use to live. The hospital where my sister was born was no longer there.
I 2007 Tom and I traveled all through Oregon with our RV, it was so beautiful. We ended up spending 3 months Brookings-Harbour, we rented a little long cabin. We were there October until December. So, we were able to see what the weather was like in winter. We loved it!
So, I believe our little family will be happy here. There are good medical facilities for hubby who needs a VA clinic/Hospital and wonderful medical and support groups for our sons condition, Pulmonary Hypertension. And I am sure there will be for me as well, so all will be good.
I turned 65 last Friday so now I am on Medicare, can not wait to see how this will work.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie I turned 65 and began my Medicare journey on 2009. It has been ok. Although our clinic has new ownership...and I have not been there in over three years. I have been very healthy...other than falling down. God is trying to help me. Every time I walk outside I ask for his protection.
You should be fine. I am so excited for you.

Marilyn, I had problems with the history of our pages, as well. There is a down arrow than you can click that changes the time span...from current out to the previous year. Then the old pages popped up, if that makes sense. It's on the red bar under the topic.
