Thank you, Winnie. The surgery is Thursday morning at 8 am. I will be on ice for a week and in a sling. Looking forward to being able to move more freely.

I hope you have a successful surgery.

My brother in law had his other leg removed this afternoon...the doctor told my husband that when they cut the artery very little blood came out. So I guess it had to be done.

Linda, I hope all goes smoothly and that after it heals, you will be free again to have full range of motion pain free! When you are able, let us know how you are doing. Maybe you can dictate a message and have Ed type it in!! He can be your nurse and your personal assistant!! LOL!!

Thank you, Sherry.

We have to get up between 4 AM and 4:30 to shower and get ready to leave. Surgery is at 8 AM, but they said to be at the hospital at 6 AM, and it takes at least 45 minutes to get there. Been trying to decide what blouses I will be able to get on and off with Ed's help. They will need to be able to go over a large sling with me not moving my arm at all. LOL! I think we have it figured out.

My DIL had this same surgery a month ago and she got several maternity nursing camisoles to use. I got a couple, but they did not open all the way and they were hard to get on even without a sling and with an arm that can move some. LOL! They will be going back.

Linda the super stretchy knit garments were wonderful when I broke my right elbow. wal Mart had a bunch of sun dresses that summer. They saved me.

A wrap-around sarong and a cape. You will be Wonder Woman!
Actually, if you have a full elastic-waist dress that can be worn with the elastic above the boobs like a strapless dress. Should work ok if it isn't cold, especially just around the house.
