| I got an email with other farmsis and friends from Darlene. She said pray for her to get home. She was using something other than her phone. I tried to answer back ,my reply came back. No such Email address. One friend on the email Ask if I was a relative that she was concerned. No post on Facebook since Sept.13. When daughter posted hospital address. Pray!!!! |

Debbie,Darlene's childhood friend who was on the email is very worried. It was very un like Darlene. We are both trying to find out more. Im going to her Facebook page. Ask for update. I just posted and ask for update please from all her Farmsisters.I mailed a card to the Hospital. I had already sent a package to her home. I didn't realize at that time that she was still in the hospital.

| Hopefully going home from the hospital is a good sign that she is stable and healing from her first round of infections. She will be sent home with HomeCare, I assume, and she might even be a bit mobile on a walker to get around. I am praying that this confusing news is actually a positive sign that Darlene is better. Denise, I hope your intel will get us an accurate update. |

I just ask a friend of Darlene's on face book how was she? She said she talked to her today!! That she wants to come home and ask for prayers and mail!! I'm gonna getva card out tomorrow.

| Wow! When I got that email I just thought it was the pain meds that caused the jumble. I typed a prayer and sent it. I don't think it came back but then I have been so busy sorting memories from junk and trash... |

I sent Darlene some Fall flowers from us. She needs mail, mail ,mail!!! I ask my face book friends to send to her!

A little more understanding from Patsy-Dirt duchess. Darlene will be going to assisted living from rehab because she lives alone. She wants to go home. I think that's what her daughter meant, when she said to their family friend, Claudia, that its complicated. lets all agree together to pray for the best for Darlene! I am so sad at heart for her!

| I am sure Darlene would prefer to go to home, but having been so ill for the past few weeks, she is better off in an assisted living facility until she is steady enough not to fall and take care of her own activities of daily living. She will also get staff help with showering, all meals provided, and most likely some rehab to get her up and walking with whatever she needs for safety. Honestly, I thing having care right now in an assisted place is the best thing for Darlene. Also they can pick up on any mischief happening like fever, redness, swelling, or a host of other issues that could land her back in the hospital with another infection. I will be praying that the progress she has made will make it so that she gets strong enough to be able to go home and do for herself and stay safe. Having been so sick for the past weeks makes her very vulnerable to more trouble so I think the decision to send her to a rehab place for awhile is prudent and the best thing. If it was my Mom, I would be glad she would be somewhere that she could be more closely looked after by professional nursing staff 24 hours a day. |
