I find it very interesting and inspiring the way the universe acts on our behalves to manifest what our souls truly need in life. The world's been known for over 2,018 years. In that time, we are placed where we are at a specific time and place, unbeknownst to us, but all a part of the universe's divine plan for our lives. Out of all those years, we go without meeting 99% of the souls to inhabit this planet. Yet, we are fascinatingly present to meet and develop relationships with our loved ones. I know.....it's heavy!
I've been blessed to have had the chance to create meaningful, lasting friendships with so many awesome women. I am aware of how lucky I am. However, not in a million years, nor with my deep love and appreciation for what the universe creates for me, did I ever imagine I would be blessed with sisters like my Farmgirls, and a sister like Jen.
When Jen and I were first introduced, I don't think either of us thought a friendship this tight would develop. When she told the Farmgirl Chapter about her idea to make a feel-better, chemo basket for her Aunt Lucy, I was so impressed by her big heart. I knew I loved her.
Throughout the past 6 years, Jen has become a part of our family. She's been there through loss, moves, new babies, every home organization project I ever dream up, but most importantly, she has been there with me through my worst. Coincidentally, I experienced my all-time life low points during this period of my life. And this story isn't about me. I'd be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the unconditional love and support she has shown me through every stage of my life. When I wouldn't be surprised to see my friends leave and give up, she never wavered. The universe gave me the most beautiful gift in her friendship.
We are all so lucky to have Jen in our lives and in our Farmgirl Sisterhood Chapter. Her beautiful soul just radiates love and sunshine.
This weekend, she is celebrating a major milestone in HER life. I've watched her share her love, support and friendship with Paul, and over the years she has developed into a First Class Stepmother, who puts that boy's birth mama to shame. I am so happy to see her dreams coming to fulfillment. If anyone deserves a beautiful life and future, it's Jen.
