My little Farm stand, Jones orchard! Stopped in for tomatoes, and I just SQUEALED!! Good thing a young girl from my church works there now, she knows I'm a farmgirl!

Sweet find Connie! I noticed last week that our local farm market had pumpkins already. I was surprised to see them so soon. That would have been the last full weekend in August. I didn't really think they would have them so soon.

OK Farmgirls north of Florida.........push some pumpkins down our way!! PLEEZE!!! And any cool weather would be most welcome with them too!! I wonder is Cool fronts can be attached, somehow, to big trucks that carry large lots of produce down this way?? Hehehe, can you tell I am desperately trying to think of SOMETHING that might help bring cooler drier days this way??? LOL!!!

Winnie, I'm with you. We have another week or so of heat and it is really playing havoc with me this year.

I noticed a bunch of yellow poking out at the pumpkin patch at the school. Very pretty.

I love pumpkins, they are so pretty, big, round, and plump! Problem is ours rot before Halloween, because we almost always have hot weather in mid October. A couple of years ago I grew a pumpkin patch and wouldn't you know it...the roosters found them delicious!

I guess our weather is ok for them but mostly I have one inside and it has lasted a whole year! they are pretty. The school has a pumpkin patch.

I think if I left it outside it would probably mold from the fog and humidity.
Happy pumpkin season everyone,

Love you all!
