Let's tell a story. I'll start with a few sentences. Then someone writes a couple of sentences or as much as they wish. You can join in as much as you wish. At some point someone will choose to end the story and if start a new one. You can change the way the story is going - like change it from a romance to a mystery. Let's go:
Amanda's Journey
Amanda checked her boarding pass and checked it again. At forty-two she was taking her first overseas flight. All her hopes and dreams were tied up in her stepping out and for once in her life doing what she wanted to do.... |

Oh Sara. How fun! I'm not great at this but...
As she sat waiting for the plane to load,she looked around noticing not a few passengers with whom she would be flying. |

| A tall elderly man caught her attention. He was engaged in conversation with a much younger man who nervously toyed with his wrist watch. She made a mental note to watch those two during the flight to see if she could learn their relational to each other. Grandfather and grandson or was it employer and employee. She was betting it was the later. |

| The tall elderly man was dressed very sharply, like a smart businessman, she caught his eye, He looked at her and smiled,she quickly looked down at her at her book.started to think about the situation, She needed to be more discreet and continued thinking about it. |

| Who was this man, really? International flights take a lot of hours, and on some level, she was unsure about spending so much time in huge planes with 300+ strangers. Especially one that seemed to look at her and smile!~ |

A smile she wasn't going to forget easily! She didn't want to get involved with anyone at this time, she picked up her book and started to read to take her mind off of him.

| No matter how she tried to keep her mind on her book, she kept wondering who the two men were. She wondered what there work might be. Also, what there lives were like and where they lived. So many thoughts about them caused her to put her book aside. |

| She put her book into her tote bag and took out her grandmother's tatter and began to tat. She had wanted to knit on the plane but the rules outlawed sharp objects and knitting needles were considered a pointed weapon. Now she could keep her hands busy while her mind and eyes kept up with what was going on around her. She was startled when a tall gypsy dressed woman spoke to her and said "There are two men who are interested in you on this plane - only one is to be trusted - I don't know which" and she went to the back of the plane. |

Amanda took her seat, as nervous as she felt, she didn't believe in Gypsy fortune tellers or any such nonsense as that, but she could not take her mind off that smile..........

Going back to her seat Amanda passed by the elderly gentleman and young man. She heard the young man say "...sorry about not being able to get us into first class." The silver haired man replied "don't fret about it we'll be just fine." Before she got to her seat she would have to pass the smiling man and she did her best to look away but as she approached his row he said "hello Amanda".

| Amanda's thoughts were interrupted when the flight attendant handed her a business card. Before she could asked who gave it to him he was already halfway to the front of the plane. The card was white trimmed in gold with black letters and read Britt, Britt, and Smith Attorneys at Law - New York City - London - Paris. She turned it over and handwritten in blue ink was "At your service" and a private phone number. She put it in her jacket's inside pocket for safe keeping just in case she needed it. |

She started to relax a little and decided to get out her book and do some reading. It was a long flight and she was hoping her book would take her away from the present for awhile.

| It was a book about the beautiful history of Cape Hatteras Light house and the area it was located in. The beautiful light house was tall and it's light shown brightly through the night protecting all who were out on the sea. |

| Amanda felt herself drifting off to sleep with thoughts of being in the lighthouse waiting for her sea captain to come home from a year long voyage. Her dream was sweet but rudely interrupted by the couple's raised voices behind her. They weren't happy with each other and the whole plane was hearing about it. The flight attendant quieted them down then asked Amanda if there was anything he could do for her. "Yes there is" she said "who gave you the business card to give to me?" He smiled and discretely said the elderly man in the three piece pin striped suit. |

| Amanda put her Miss Marple hat on and played detective turning the business card over and over in her hand. The card was expensive so whoever it belonged to would have to be likewise dressed. The elderly gentlemen was first on her list and the young man's suit looked to be by the same tailor. Britt and Britt -grandfather and grandson - yes it had to be them. But who was Smith and is he aboard the plane too? |

| Lunch was served by the same young man who had given her the business card. He leaned forward so only she could hear what he had to say. "I'm sworn to secrecy so I can't tell you who asked me to tell you to enjoy the trip over the pond and all will be revealed in London." Having said his piece he carried on with handing out lunches. Satisfied there would be answers she ate her lunch with relish. |

| Having a continuing curious story to muse over in her mind, on what seems like an endless journey over the Atlantic, was indeed a benefit that Amanda had not even considered. London is a hoppin' place and she wondered how al this talk would reveal whatever revelation had been suggested by the flight attendant. |

| The words that the woman in the airport had shared with her kept coming to mind. Though she felt intrigued by the words of the steward she still wanted to be cautious. She had no idea how these men could possibly know her. She looked forward to getting to her destination and enjoying the sites of London. |
