I just thought I would list, for future reference, what I believe the duty of a hen honcho is for our henhouse:
- Ensure that everyone is treated fairly, with respect and honor their commitments
- Political and religious views are kept to oneself (we do have a variety of beliefs here)
- Forum remains positive and uplifting
- Fun place to be
- Inspirational
- Principle contact with Brian
- Ensure that any hen house project in the name Mary Jane Farm is approved prior to starting
- Recruiting of new members (of course being open to suggestions)
- Keeping up-to-date with member events (my choice)
- Being the first contact for new members - sending them a welcome letter. Once authorized to post by Brian, sending them our hexagon logo, which was taken from a drawing that Darlene (Darlenelovesart) drew.
If I think of anything else I will posted.
