Hey everyone,
Today August 8 being International Cat Day I thought I would start a Cat Celebration post so that we could share pictures of our felines.
This is Stella, sometimes referred to as PS (Princess Stella). What a character she is!
She was a stray that we adopted. I do not know how old she is. The first year I had her, she never wanted to go outside. I would put her out and the minute someone opened the door she would bolt in. My take is that she was afraid she would never be let back in. Now she is comfortable going outside ... except in the winter time.
Catch you later! Cheers! |

Here are pictures of my current kittie, Calli, and my former cat, Jake. Calli is my current kittie. She is a hunter - always bringing me pieces of birds and mice. I'm happy she is getting rid of the mice, but I wish she would leave the birds alone. She loves keeping cool in the sinks in the summer.
Jake was a man's cat - if I had a repairman in the house, Jake would be at his elbow, watching everything he did. Jake also loved riding in the car on my lap. I miss him. This picture was taken at my previous house, where he would get on top of the refrigerator to look down on everything. LOL!

Cats are funny. If they live inside they "rule the roost." If they live outside they tend to roam. The cat my sister and brother had when we were growing up was a big black Tom cat. He was 14 when mother moved and took him to their new home. He had no ears. Too many Tom cat fights in his life time. I would rather listen to my chicken and rooster noise than Tom cats on fences arguing over their territory. We have Mr. Twister who is 16. The girls have two kitties that live outside, and are closed up in their cat palace, also known as the well house, at night. So far, so good. The coyotes have not gotten them. |

Here is my fur friend, Mr. Bump. Right now he is sleeping in a basket on my desk and keeping me company. Yesterday, we had a good re-check at the vet so I am hopeful that he is finally well again! |

I love all these sweet kitty pics :)! My kitty, Hunter Boy went to live with my sister and brother-in-love, because he needed a full time lap, and there he pretty much has it. I am going to visit him in MA next week for 10 days :)! Can't wait. I sure do miss him! also we have kids and grands that are allergic to kitties, so it is better I just love on every one else's ! |

This is a new addition, about 3 months old and shy, i have held her a little bit and still am working on her. She cuddles in when I hold her but hard to get her to hold, I am not sure exactly if she is a boy or girl so her name is Tiny Penelope Frederick and I think it will stay that way. Have a happy international cat day. |

Here are my kiddos. Maize helping with the laundry, Raven peaking through the catnip, and Juliet getting into my yarn (needless to say I moved it). |
