It's June and some of the herbs we planted back in the early spring are ready for first harvest or we have been snipping on them for cooking. I used mine this morning to cut lemon grass for drying. I also use it for cutting small green onions.

Quite a while back I stocked up on the herb scissors when Ball had a sale. I have one to gift and shipping is included. You can check it out at

Well, I can't say that my herbs are ready to be snipped! But hey -> that's my Canadian coming out count me in the draw!

Got you down Marilyn.

I cut herbs like lemon grass, chives, and some herb stems before drying.
Large leaf herbs I dry whole - small leaf herbs are left on stem.

Sara, I guess I live under a rock, because I have not heard of them, but sure would love a pair:)! My herbs are ready to be snipped. Actually going to make some cream cheese and olive spread, but this time I'm going to add a little fresh dill! Will let you know how it is!

Enjoy your new scissors, Darlene! Time to get those herbs growing so you can cut and dry them for next Winter season. I am doing that right now with my Basil plant that is growing like a week these days!
