OK.....I'm going to let out my dirty little secret. LOL

I really want to live on a boat, so I guess that is not really a farm :O
Hey, I can grow some veggies on deck, LOL!!

I been thinking about this for over 2 years. I have found a boat I really like. My issue is that there are no marina slips at the moment on my lake of choice. I am working really diligently....to sweet talk my way into my marina of choice. Is it bad if I ask for some good vibes, prayers or whatever is your thing here???

The boat is 4 1/2 hours away at the moment, so I have to work out the slip, transport etc.....that list seems to grow.
But there she floats that is my dirty little secret.

My long-term goal would be to live there full-time. But baby steps!!
Plus most people look at me like I have six heads when I mention living on a tiny houseboat full-time. What can I say....I don't like to mow grass and I enjoy fishing.

Haha... well you wouldn't have any grass to worry about that's for sure! I've never in my life thought about owning a boat let alone living on one full time. It kind of sounds like living in one of those tiny houses. Good luck and prayers Houseboat Farmgirl!

I am so thrilled......I got a email that said I have a boat slip (a tad bit more expensive as it is bigger than I need, I can get a smaller one when one is available)
Can you see me jumping up and down with happy!!!!

Chickens might be interesting........Oh my a rooster in the marina :O that might not be the best way to make friends! But hey I will have lots of ducks....(probably too many or at least too much duck poo)

We have a bass boat, canoe and kayak. I have always loved the lake and water, since I was a teeny tiny girl. I actually worked at the Marina I will be docked at when I was younger. (it has different owners now though)

Now I just have to get the transport and purchase all in order.

How exciting! What are you naming your boat? We go to South Haven Michigan every August for vacation, and I love walking by the marina there and reading all the names of the boats!

So is this boat that is 4 1/2 hours away a houseboat? I can imagine that sleeping on the water would be very relaxing!

Yes, I am hoping to go see it this weekend. Then I will work with a transport service to bring the boat to me. The lake and marina is 10 minutes from my house.
This is if all goes smoothly with the sale of the boat and the transport arrangements.
