I have been a part of Mary Janes Farm for a good number of years and this hen house for several and have been blessed with many special friendships and amazing women who have come into my life because of it. One of those is our hen honcho Carole. Now many of you don't know that if Carole doesn't see you on the forum for awhile or knows something serious is going on in your life she gets concerned and picks up the phone and tracks you down to check on you. she has become a dear friend to me and a blessing to my family.

As you all know my grandson struggles with a rare desease and has had many hospital stays and surgeries in his short 2 1/2 years. Last fall a fund raiser was held for him and Carole was so generous to donate a mystery quilt kit for the silent auction. Another benefit is being planned for him in April and a few weeks ago I got busy and did a quilt top for the benefit. Shortly after I finished it Carole called and we were discussing the benefit and she offered to quilt my top for me as a donation. Today I received this amazing package from her.

The quilt, beautifully quilted. I need to add the binding this week.

Thomas the trains friend Oliver the train, a Thomas the train book and a beautiful train play quilt for Oliver and new books for his sisters

And last but not least, 2 beautiful moda jelly rolls and a Gorgeous Timeless Treasure Tonga Treat for the silent auction.

Carole thank you so much for your generous gift, but most of all for blessing me with your kind heart and your beautiful friendship.

Love and hugs
Julie
