I'm embroidering the stamped apron I got from Colonial Patterns. It will take a month to finish because of how MS impacts my hand & eye coordination. I can only embroider an inch or so at a time before the repetitious hand movements confuse me, and I no longer know how to do it, and will have to lay it aside for a later time.

I do like this sweet relish for a change from my other favorite, apple butter.

Your stamped apron is going to be cute, Sara!

Well, I managed to get my mum's quilt delivered! Here is a picture of the beast on her bed!

And for those like me who enjoy seeing the machine quilting

Mum loved the quilt. She started tearing, which made me tear! lol Glad it is done and she is now enjoying it!

Catch you later! Cheers!

Carole, the quilt is beautiful. Love the colors.

I laid the apron aside the last couple of days, and appliqued an big apple out of apple fabric onto a tea towel, for Apple Pie Sunday. Hope to get back to the apron today.

Thank you Sara! Looking forward to seeing pictures of your apron! I so enjoy seeing what my fellow farmsisters are up to!

I managed to finish another project - Vintage Holiday by Jo Morton

I even set up my embroidery machine and made a label for it! Imagine that?

Then, my super power "unfocused" took over and I started a new project ... starting making labels for all my quilts! [:/] Sigh!

Very pretty quilts.
My nesting grand daughter wanted some Autumn pillows. She had photos she had taken, so I could make them for her. Five are finished, one more to go. She also wants cloth pumpkins, so I am passing on my smaller ones to her, since her space is limited. She made her own wreath. It turned out quite pretty. We were shopping for supplies when she asked about purchasing a wreath form. I told her not to do that. "Just pick up one of those ropes that is laying on the ground, by your dad's storage container." She was hesitant until I told her I had already asked about them. So with an old team roping rope, some Autumn leaves, flowers, little pumpkins and a muted tri colored, big puffy bow, she made a happy wreath for a happy girl. She is always so busy, I cherish our bits of time together. Now, when Hadlee realizes what we have been up to...I may be making more pillows.

Love that quilt, Carole. Great label, too.

Nesting pillows? Are these large comfy pillows for on a bed or couch? Sounds neat! Send a picture of the nester nesting. LOL! Neat idea for a wreath, too!

Today I hope to bind 2 more quilts - maybe 3.

Nesting is what I call making your space like a home. Cute.
The pillows are for fall. They are about 14" pillows for a sofa.

Thank you everyone for your kind comment on the recent finish. The picture really doesn't do it justice. The colours are so much richer than in the picture.

Well, I have another little quilt finished. I love to hand embroider. I know .... you're shocked .... This one measures 15.5" x 19.5".

The pattern is called My Little House by Kathy Schmitz. I did a tutorial on how I constructed the block. If you all are interested you can read about it on my blog: http://www.carolesquiltingetc.com/2016/09/we-have-partial-finish_20.html

AND: As a friendly reminder, do not push your blade to its limit. If you do, this will result!

It's over a half inch deep!!! I was pressing so hard (cuz I wanted to push my rotary blade to the limit) and it went over the edge of my ruler and hit my index finger ... OUCH!! .... it was deep but not deep enough for stitches! Lost a pint of blood! Ok, I'm exaggerating .... but change that dull blade!!!!

Catch you later! Cheers!

Ow! Carole that had to hurt!.
Your little quilt is beautiful!
I went to a paint class today. One of those Paint night kind, It is the first one I have been to in this area and daytime too. It was fun, I want to do it again sometime. depending on what they are painting.
this one is of wolves, they had another class later and didn't have enough people for it so I could have stayed for it too, but didn't have the money at the time but didn't really like the picture that well. We put a little bling on it which I have never done before and now know that I will use the same back ground paint to stick them on instead of the white which showed more than I liked .

Carole, Beautiful quilt!
Darlene, Beautiful Art!

I am Painting Rocks! LOL!! 2 moms In Memphis wanted to do something to uplift others! They started painting and hiding rocks in parks and walking trails and school playgrounds! It is called #902 Rocks. That is the Area Code for a lot of this area! it snow Balled! Other counties around us started it, They have their own face book page. It was on the local news here, saying that it had spread to other states! My daughter Holly and Lily June walk everyday in a park called the Greenline, part of historic Overton park. The Memphis Zoo also sits on that land. Lily June brought me the Flag Rock she found, they re-hide most all of theirs, so I painted some for them to hide. It is fun! Some local artist have gotten involved and created quite the masterpieces! The kids at St. Jude had a Rock Painting class! I am just a craft painter! Lily June brought the flag to Granny Bear! I cherish it!! Here are some Granny bear painted for them to hide.

Farmgirl Hugs! Connie

Beautiful quilts Carole - I so wish I could get myself back to doing that! Right now I have 11 pair of Flannel PJ Pants cut out and ready to sew for my daughter's. They are both pretty long legged (like their Mom) so store bought don't work for them :)!
Love the wolf painting. I went to one class like that and it was fun!
Those rocks are so cute! The town I am from is Scituate, MA on the coast, and the towns people there are painting the rocks also. I found one while visiting this Summer, left it for someone else to enjoy, but I did take a photo of it to keep! It was quite unexpected and meant a lot to me :)! Hope you all have a great week!
Hugs, Ruth

Today I did a little embroidery on brown work tea towel. I love red work and have expanded it to include brown and orange work that works better in my kitchen.
