Carole, I don't think it's the printer needing a head cleaning (although I could probably use one!). I've been able to print other photos, etc. with good results. I think it's likely a compatibility issue having to do with the upgrade I got after my computer crashed last month. There are just a few weird problems popping up here and there. Babysitting today and going to try to print from on Bonnie's computer. Got my fingers crossed!
