Harvest time in NE Missouri is always a pretty and joyful time. This year we did not have field crops to harvest nor much garden crops due to much rain which made it hard to plant or grow things. I have enjoyed my apple harvest...yummy. I also enjoy the harvest of supplies from two dear friends, one who passed away but whose daughters had a large craft day sale at her house in honor of all her years of crafting. I was able to get many quilting items thanks to being invited by the family. It was a harvest. I also had a friend move back to Indiana and clearing out her stash of quilting items, passed on two boxes of stuff and a pile of quilting magazines which I will pour over with some quilting friends here. Harvest in many ways for me this year, and some sad and unexpected, but always the joy of memories.

Katie, I agree, harvests come in many ways and it sounds like you hit the jackpot! Enjoy going through everything and getting some inspiration to do new projects. I am looking forward to seeing what you decide to make.

Katie, Enjoy your "harvest" of quilt things and mamories. How lovely that you were included. She must have been a special friend who shared in your love of the craft.
