I am glad to report that we did not get much effect from Hurricane Michael here in Gainesville. There were some wind gusty hours and a little rain, but nothing like what happened over on the Panhandle. A good friend our ours lives in Tallahassee, just 2 hours west of us, and last evening he had lost his power and trees were down in his neighborhood. This storm was devastating and my heart goes out to all the people who lost loved ones, their homes, their livelihood and or animals. The reports here was that this was the most powerful storm to ever hit the Florida panhandle in history. Awful!

I'm so glad to hear that you are ok, Winnie. I was listening to weather updates yesterday on the radio but haven't seen anything yet on tv about the storm. It might be a few days before all of the damage is known...so sad for everyone's loss...keeping everyone in my prayers.

Continued prayers for the people affected in Florida storm, and families who lost loved ones.

Baby Silas went home from the Hospital!! Thanks! for your prayers! He is doing good, they keep a close eye on him because, he had to stay in the hospital a while when he was born due to lung issues. His family is praising the Lord and said thanks to all who prayed!!

Hugs! Connie

Winnie, so glad to hear you are ok. Prayers for those lost to the hurricane. Thankful for my friend who heard the warnings and drove many miles back home to safety.
Connie baby Silas may need to be watched for signs of RSV this winter and until he is about 4 or 5 years old! Hugs. I'm thankful he is doing better.

Goodness sake, Connie. How awful that Lily June has brought home a cold virus that has all the Girls down for the count! Take care and I hope you will be able to fight off the worst with rest.

Connie, when I was a young teacher and skinny, I wore a pillow case wrapped around my ribs, pinned with big safety pins, so I could teach, and not have that horrible pain, when a cough just had to come out. The doctor had a name for that condition that followed a bout of bronchitis. Get well soon Connie. Do you diffuse essential oils???

Marilyn, that's interesting, Pillowcases have many uses!! I do off and on use essential oils. I am slowly coming back to life, today I feel like I'm going to live!! Taking it slow. Sunny and 75 here today. I went out just for a few minutes to feel the sunshine, Oh it felt so good! It's been, cold rainy and in the 50's almost 2 weeks. Very Odd weather wise October for us! Seems that way for a lot of states!
