Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday the 29th. Terry is thrilled it is so soon and hopefully it hasn't gone any farther and they will be able to get it all.

Brenda, I will be praying for Terry and the family as they face this together! Do you have an address where we could send her cards? Just a thought! Maybe e-mail it to us?
Hugs and prayers,
Ruth

Wonderful News Ladies! My sister Terry had her surgery today. The Doctor was able to get all the cancer and said cancer didn't go to the lymph nodes. She is home already. I just talked to her and she sounds tired, but so relieved and happy it's all over.

She said Thank You to all of you for your prayers and she is looking forward to the cards that were sent to her.

Thank You from me also. God certainly has been good!

Sorry I didn't get Terry's address out sooner to those that wanted it, I spent 3 days with my Mom. She was sick on Saturday, in the ER on Sunday and at the Doctor's on Monday. She must have eaten something that caused her to have a lot of direahea. She seems to be Okay for now.

My sister Terry started her radiation treatments yesterday. She may be able to have them accelerated. Meaning she may not have to go for as many treatments. Anywhere from 30 on up. Everyday except for Saturdays and Sundays. Otherwise, she is doing quite well. They have told her she will be very tired though. She is also suppose to keep out stress. Easier said than done. She has lots of support from family and friends. All the cards that have been sent to her have made her feel special. Thanks to all that have sent her cards.

A while back I asked for prayers for little Luke, a three year old with cancer. After chemo, losing his hair, being very sick, the doctors in Fort Worth are sending him to New York for surgery. I believe his surgery is August 9th. They plan to fly up the 8th. The surgery will take eight or nine hours. Please join me in lifting this young family up before God. They are believers, raising their young family in church. They understand that Luke may not get to remain with them, but they continue to ask God to spare him. Thank you.
