Karen, she is still in ICU. She is in stable condition She has fought this before and recovered. I just wish they would drain her lungs. Not sure why they are not.

Thank you ladies for all your prayers and kind thoughts! They did another more detailed mammo..then the Dr wanted a sonogram. Put me through 20 questions which proved I'm very low risk. (no history of family cancer, never took hormone replacement, no vaccines, no smoking..etc It's amazing the factors that they are finding are affecting risk factors!) She just said that there were "changes" in the images from my last mammo.
Sent me home and said I'm to come back in 6 months! Praise God! I'll take it! Just wanted to go home with this not hanging over me. I've got WAY TOO much work to do! lol
I appreciate so much the support I find here in our little corner of the world. <<hugs>>

Good news Jenn! It is such a good thing that we know a lot about breast cancer these days and have the tools to keep a close eye on things to help catch anything serious in the early stages.

Prayers for my brother in law, Dave, please. His sister passed away last night. She went into the hospital for a biopsy on her lung and in the process the punctured her lung. Her husband has Alzhiemers and they are waiting for all the kids to get there before they tell him. Would appreciate prayers for that. She didn't want to have it done till after the holidays but they talked her in to going yesterday. I knew her well and it is just very sad.

Thank you I knew I could count on you. My nephew is taking pretty hard. It was such a shock. She was so sweet always. Now she is with my sister.

On a good note Madi, the little girl my daughter takes care of might be coming home soon. Still praying all goes well. The took her off the ventilator and had her on a bi-pap machine. I really don't know what that is but anyway, her lungs are clearing and they are taking her off the bi-pap and only having her on it at night. So those are all answers to prayers. My daughter said she went to see her and whenever she mentioned she was going to leave Madi got upset with her and was making it known. Lol. That was a good sign. Nothing is definite of course until she actually gets home. Right after she went in her new chair came in. Insurance wouldn't pay for the whole thing but they were able to raise the funds on a gofundme page. She is growing and really needed the new chair. It is nice to put happy things on this thread too!

My mother is going in the hospital this morning for colon surgery if you wouldn't mind praying for her. I know I've had a lot of requests. We've had a lot going on in the family.

Oops that should have said mother in law. She made it through the surgery. They only gave her a local. So glad of that. She did real well. Now just needs to heal up.
