Well, since I'm still fairly new to the henhouse, and several lovely ladies have joined since, I thought it would be nice learn more about my new sisters! Hence the title "Nosey Question." :)
So, What is your all time favorite movie?
Mine is, without a doubt, "White Christmas." I know it line for line, song for song, and made sure my daughter grew up loving it too. Now I'm working on my granddaughter! And oh how I've always wanted one of those red velvet gowns like Rosemary Clooney wears in the last scene! :) |

| I love this idea... but am really struggling with an answer! We really are not big movie people! I THINK my favorite is A Charlie Brown Christmas. But I'm not positive about that. I may change my ind as more movies come to mind... |

| Amy, I like movies where Meryl Streep is in a leading role! One older movie I loved was Two for the Road with Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney. My favorite thing is to watch British Drama series on Netflix. Some of my favorites were: Lark Rise to Candleford, Land Girls, and now Foyle's War. Of course, I absolutely love Downton Abby, Doc Martin, Call the Midwife, and any of the Ken Burns documentary series. |

| This is a great idea!! I like lots of movies, but one of my recent (within the last couple of years) favs has been Finding Normal. When I was a girl I always loved Legend, Labyrinth, The Goonies, Neverending Story, and Dark Crystal. See a pattern? ;) I still love fantasy. Isabelle does, too, so we enjoy LoTR and The Chronicles of Narnia! |

Well Amy, I am not a movie goer. I cannot sit still and not have my hands occupied (unless I'm meditating). I like to keep busy. I seriously do not think that people would be to happy if I brought a portable light to the theater so that I can get some hand work done! lol
Having said that, I tend to buy the dvd (if it's something I know I will want to watch again) and/or rent from Netflix when I want to see a movie. I am extremely particular about the movies I watch and what I allow allow in my life. For one, I will not see horour/slash films, or extremely violent movies. It is not an energy I want to surround me.
I tend to watch children's movies. One of my favourite is Arthur Christmas, Fred Claus, The Polar Express .... okay yes I love Christmas movies and own many.
On the non holiday theme, I like the Hallmark series The Good Witch , The Dish ... oh and not a movie but a favourite The Big Bang Theory. BTW, I am married to a mild form of Sheldon! lol
I guess you can say I like movies that make me feel good. I did go see The Theory of Everything with my friend Nancy. She insisted I would enjoy it (she knows how I am, I get scared easily - I'm way to sensitive to emotions and energy). She was right, I loved it. I kept my hands busy by eating popcorn! lol Presently reading her book. |

i am looking forward to the new Star Wars movie.
I just went with friends and saw Jurassic Park and it was done very well but it did make me jump at times. I do like mellower movies but detective type or similar like Bob Hope in Ghost Breakers, and children's movies like Nancy Drew and I love Curious George on Net flix and Larva was cute when I was at my daughters house. It does depend on the movie, and I am not into horror anymore, except maybe like Boris Karloff or other ones like that.
Have a great day everyone.

| I am a movie-holic so I won't be able to give you my all time favorite. I enjoy several different genre from musicals to Pride and Prejudice (the one with Colin Firth) to Star Wars to comedy. |

Carole I have all the other ones but believe me this did scare me in spots, but photography was great! They had holographics and I enjoyed that part and it was set in Hawaii, very pretty. But scarey yes and some parts I turned my head.

| Marlee, I'm with you Christmas movies. I also love all the classic Disney animated movies. I'm really excited about introducing my granddaughter to them! My favorite is Pocahontas, followed closely by Cinderella. |
