| I totally agree! Cannot do it too soon though, as Emi will be born shortly, but would really like to do it before we move - maybe right before??? And her price is phenomenal!!! Alicia - maybe next summer with our daughters? |

That is a great Website alicia just as good her book. I love it and signed up for her newsletters. I want to know how Dumplin and Moon pie and the other one is and if they have babies.

| Oh my gosh!!! Lets go. I already emailed her last week and asked her if she did retreats or if I could add days on the existing retreat on her website. She replied and said she is willing to do anything. I was going to try and get some friends together but how wonderful would it be if some of us could meet and do it??? Let me know what you think. | It would be great fun to do this. I would have to see when everyone wanted to go because I have to make sure someone would be available to care for Dad then. I assume we would have to stay over somewhere? |

I did email Suzanne this morning. I wanted to be sure she planned to have the "Taste" next year, since dates only go through this year. Here is her reply (which was within minutes! :) ):
Hi, Alicia! That's great, I'd love for you to come sometime. I do have them scheduled through the end of the year, and you can see the available dates here:

I never know for sure what I'm doing from year to year, but I'm assuming at this point that I'll be doing them again next year. I also do private workshops for groups if you want to set a date sometime in the fall just for your group. For private groups, I'm fine with new moms bringing their babies if they are too young to be parted. (And in a private group, I can assume that you are all family/friends and are fine with a baby being at the workshops.)

| I loved this book. I would love to go to workshops in West Virginia... Barbara Kingsolver I think moved there also...she wrote Animal, Vegetable, Miracle after moving there. Also there is a chef that lives there that I follow on TV who is "exploring the South, one ingredient at a time". Has made me curious about this part of the world, I imaging it to be like Maine in a way, rural, pretty, emphasis on family... I would be up for a road trip depending on when the group would go. I will look her website up later (I am at work right now)... |
